Brett Wilson was born in Manchester and went to Reddish Vale Comprehensive School. He began writing short stories when he was 15, but after an unsuccessful attempt at writing a novel he stopped. When he was 31 he began writing again. This continued until he was 36 when he decided there was nothing more to write. Aged 50, one of his stories appeared in a magazine and he realised that he had been mistaken yet again....

The Tears of God
